Hosting Regions

brainCloud servers are hosted on AWS.

The following regions are available for hosted Room and Relay Servers:

  • Asia Pacific (Mumbai) - also known as ap-south-1 

  • Asia Pacific (Sydney) - also known as ap-southeast-2

  • Asia Pacific (Tokyo) - also known as ap-northeast-1 

  • Canada (Central) - also known as ca-central-1 

  • EU Central (Frankfurt) - also known as eu-central-1 

  • South America (Sao Paulo) - also known as sa-east-1 

  • US East (OHIO) - also known as us-east-2 

  • US West (N. California) - also known as us-west-1 

Server Sizes

brainCloud supports hosting of servers of the following sizes.

Tiny

  • AWS t3.small

  • 2GB RAM, 2 vCPUs for 4h 48m burst

  • Low-to-moderate Network Performance

  • AWS cost = $0.020800 hourly*

Small

  • AWS t3.medium

  • 4GB RAM, 2 vCPUs for 4h 48m burst

  • Low-to-moderate Network Performance

  • AWS cost = $0.041600 hourly*

Medium

  • AWS c5.large

  • 4GB RAM, 2 vCPUs

  • Up to 10 Gigabit Network Performance

  • AWS cost = $0.085000 hourly*

Large

  • AWS c5.xlarge

  • 8GB RAM, 4 vCPUs

  • Up to 10 Gigabit Network Performance

  • AWS cost = $0.170000 hourly*

XLarge

  • AWS c5.2xlarge

  • 16GB RAM, 8 vCPUs

  • Up to 10 Gigabit Network Performance

  • AWS cost = $0.340000 hourly*
