The Team > Manage > Apps page lists all the apps in your team. From this page you can:
View all of your team's apps and their usage
Create a new app
Go live or change an app's plan
Disable, enable, or delete an app
Apply a coupon or plan code to an app
Apps List
Use the filters at the top of the list to change what is shown:
Date: show usage for Today or Yesterday.
View: API Usage.
Search: filter the list by app name.
The list has the following columns:
App (ID): the app's name and ID. Click the name to open the app.
Plan: the app's current billing plan.
DAU: daily active users. DAU counts reset daily at 00:00:00 UTC.
Total Users: the total number of users in the app.
API: API calls used. API counts reset at the end of the month.
API/DAU: the average number of API calls per daily active user.
Publishing: shows a
Go Live!...button for apps on a development plan, or the app's state: Live, Suspended, or Deleted.Last Updated: when the app was last changed.
If an app is approaching or over a usage limit for its plan, or has been limited or restricted by the system, a warning is shown on its row with suggested next steps, such as upgrading the plan.
Creating an App
Click the New App... button in the upper right corner of the list. In the Create New App dialog:
Enter the App Name.
Choose whether to Enable Gamification (see below).
Select at least one platform supported by your app. Platforms are grouped into Mobile & Web, Desktop & Console, and Legacy.
If you have a GameJam or trial code, enter it under Got a Code? to unlock temporary access to additional features.
Click
Create.
Only team administrators can create apps.
Enable Gamification controls whether game-related sections, such as Gamification (Achievements, Milestones, Quests, Statistics Events, XP Levels), Leaderboards, and Multiplayer, are shown in the portal menus for the app. It is selected by default if your team is set up for game development. It only affects what the portal shows, not what the API can do. You can change it later in App > Design > Core App Info > Advanced Settings with the Show Game Design Features option.
App Actions
To see the actions for an app, click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) at the end of its row. Depending on the app's state and your role, the menu includes:
Refresh: refreshes the app's billing information.
Disable / Enable: turns the app off or back on.
Change Plan...: opens the plan selection dialog (see Going Live and Changing Plans).
Refresh Revenue...: recalculates the app's total revenue and purchase count, removing sandbox, mock, and pending transactions from the totals. You can preview the old and new totals before choosing
Update. Previously calculated daily and monthly totals are not changed.Delete...: permanently deletes the app and all of its user data. Only available after the app has been disabled. You must type the app's name to confirm.
Apply Coupon / Code...: applies a coupon or plan code to the app.
Most actions are only available to team administrators.
Going Live and Changing Plans
To upgrade an app, click the Go Live!... button in the Publishing column, or select Change Plan... from the actions menu. The Choose Billing Plan dialog lists the available plans, grouped into Basic Plans, Plus Plans, and Bulk Plans, along with the features each one includes. Select a plan and click Confirm.
Note that once an app goes live, it cannot return to a development plan.
Your team must have billing set up before you can change an app's plan. Until it is, Change Plan... does not appear in the actions menu, and clicking Go Live!... opens a Set Up Billing to Continue dialog that takes you to the Team > Setup > Billing page, where you can create a billing account and enter your payment details.
Deleting an App
To delete an app, first disable it by selecting Disable from the actions menu. Then select Delete... and type the app's name to confirm. Deleting an app removes the app and all user data associated with it.
